During a relatively welcome lull in a seemingly perpetual bout of rainfall,
a somewhat tame but enjoyable float was to be had on a section of the
Chattooga often overlooked; Sect. III. The usual benign holes and waves became
forces to be reckoned with as heavy water slow and powerful flowed
over the usual features to create a playground of big water and powerful currents.
The level was ~ 5 ft.
