IR Pollution Testing:
The aim of the IR pollution testing is to determine if it is possible to achieve a digital Black and White IR image. Each digital cinema camera has a IR block in front of the sensor to stop IR. However there is still a small amount of IR close to the red spectrum that the camera still captures. By using non IR filters I am finding out of you can change the ration between visible light and IR light thus making the sensor more receptive to the IR light.
For these test I have been using the Tiffen ND .3, .6 and .9
Red One MX
Cooke 20-100 T3.1
ISO 800, 5600K, 25fps, base stop of T22
