Nilo, this is a masterpiece for someone of your age and limited timelapse experience.

I think you will become a very powerful cinematographer and photographer.

    Keep following your dreams!

Absolutely Amazing. My boy, Chris - 15 - a tribal member of the Tribe as well has been shooting with the RED camera since he was 14. He just finished his first Music Video for the group Paramore. (Cant give details, but it was awesome) .. you guys should hook up.

Some really nice stuff there. Some of those starlapse shots had more than a couple hot pixels. If you keep going in this direction I'm sure you will find equipment to fit your talent.

You must have done quite a bit of hiking to get these shots. The thunder storm was my favorite.

    Pure awesomeness.

Did anybody notice the satellites being tracked from 7:52 ? Or are they burnt pixels... I counted 17
  • Nilo Merino Recalde 1 month ago
Are burnt pixels... and had the triple :D
Thank you for the comment ;)
  • Tom @ Timescapes plus 1 month ago
If you shoot RAW and process with After Effects, the hot pixels will go away automatically.

I need to buy larger memory cards, 'cause mine only have 2gb :D:D

PS.: I am preparing my response to your message, but I'm delaying because I'm trying to explain it good, your message has made me very excited and I was glad deeply! :)
    warm regards,
    Nilo
  • Tom @ Timescapes plus 1 month ago
Yes, you need much bigger cards! You know, even the cheap Transcend 32GB x133 ($75 USD) CF cards are fast enough for most timelapse shooting. Maybe some Extreme IIIs are becoming cheaper now, too.

how did you move the camera, you have some table like @Tom @ Timescapes?
  • Nilo Merino Recalde 1 month ago
The videos with camera movement are the last to I've done, because i recently managed to borrow a telescope with motorized head. As you can't remove the telescope from the motorized head and I can't break this because isn't mine, I tie the camera to the telescope with two bungee cords :D

I only had to spend money on batteries and bungee cord :D:D
