The Canadian Music Mega Mix! 22 Canadian artists into one three and a half minute song. It's like Girl Talk, but with Canada.

I posted the mp3 here: megaupload.com/?d=MWFVBH5L

    Amazing!

The complicated/fat lip section is so sick.

Edit: upon finishing the song, the whole thing is so sick.

    Falcon, this is amazing eh.

If you make a sequel, include the Tragically Hip, who for many Canadians are more than a band, but one of the defining elements of our cultural identity (in Canada, the Hip are arguably more popular than Neil Young and Arcade Fire). For 20 years they've sold out hockey arenas and festivals coast to coast. Fortunately, they never really broke out beyond Canada, so Canadians living abroad still get to see them in small venues. Here's video I took at their Irving Plaza show here in NYC last year: vimeo.com/180750. An authentic and complete collection of music from the true north strong and free must include the Hip.

But you did include Oh Canada, FTW. We all sing that every morning before feeding bacon and poutine to our sled-dogs.
  • Tragically Hip sounds vaguely familiar, but yeah, only vaguely so. Thanks Feldman!

Really ..was Céline necessary ? I don't even think most Canadians even care that she's one of us anymore...

Great mix nonetheless ! Super bien fait !
