Descent from Paradise

This is a video of a recumbent trike ride from Paradise to Longmire at Mt Rainier National Park. It is a thirteen mile downhill from alpine meadow to northwest old growth forest. For the first attempt, I was holding a video camera in one hand while steering and braking with the other. I was hesitant to go more than 35 mph with this arrangement. Next I will explore different camera mounts and angles.

The trike is equipped with three 20 inch narrow, high pressure tires. For the next Descent video, I will use the other trike with soft Big Apple tires and a 26 inch rear wheel.
