The project deals with the re-use of waste from "Dispobud" factory that manufactures disposable products made of non-woven fabric (The factory throwing away each month about three tons of the fabric(. The waste is then transformed into a new material.
Researching the material characteristics has brought up the use of heat process in order to turn it into a durable material and create furniture that combines industrial and craft.
The furniture is made by melting the raw material (non-woven fabric) into a mold made of aluminum. The mold was manufactured by CNC technology.
