SRD. The Society for Responsible Design is an incorporated, not-for-profit, volunteer-based, registered environmental organisation that has explored the relationship between design, the environment & social responsibility since 1989.

A major SRD objective is to support and promote collaboration between educators of all design streams, designers using responsible design practices, manufacturers and the public to advance information, research and education for significantly better built and living environments, products, services and resource management. Through the Change exhibition 2009, SRD celebrates 20 years of promoting positive change,
seeing the imperative and opportunity to provide ideas and solutions to advance this important discussion locally and worldwide.

The main exhibition for 2009 was held in Deutsche Bank Place, Sydney. Taking innovation by design to the financial hub of the CBD showcased the immense capacity for young designers to lead the way to a sustainable future. srdchange.org/09/
