The Digital Commons staff produced this video as the entry point to an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that the Penn State University Libraries developed for their Open House in September 2009. The ARG had several ‘branches’, including the Digital Commons in the library. The context was that President Spanier performed a magic trick, which caused the Libraries' Lion to disappear. Participants embarked on three quests that taught them about different aspects of the library while they tried to build a final enchantment to break President Spanier's spell and bring the Lion back.
