I can't begin to count the number of times I've been asked to explain the difference between Pilates & Yoga. I bet it's the same for you.

I wonder, how did you learn about the differences and when you're asked, what do you say?

I've been giving this lecture on the similarities and differences between Yoga & Pilates as part of my finishing school, Pilates Excel, since 2005 and it's also part of my Skype "Business of Pilates" course and my comprehensive education program. Although there are many more points of similarity and difference than I cover in this video, these are the ones that are the most significant and that are generally the most important and easiest to explain to clients.

CORRECTION: In the video, I say tendons and ligaments burst at 5 - 7% stretch but I was off a teeny bit; they burst at 7 - 10% stretch. Ouch!
