Lynne is a shepherdess in Oregon. When I had the opportunity to visit Lynne and her husband, Tom, I couldn't help but notice the spiritual parallels between her every day job and what Scripture says about shepherds and sheep.

As I dug through the 700 verses that mention sheep and shepherds with Lynne, we dug into questions like, Why does God call himself the Good Shepherd? And What's the big deal with the Passover lamb?

One unforgettable moment was when I realized how intimately she knew her sheep. She could pick out distinct 'voices' from within her flock. If Lynne knows her sheep that intimately, how much more does God know you and I?

Join me on the spiritual adventure of a lifetime as we scout the Divine and make Scripture come to life.
