Capucine and I have eaten more candy than we were supposed to. Capucine tries to get us out of trouble before Dad finds out about it.

"put the box back, quick!"
"hide it quick!"
"we didn't eat all the strawberries!"
"There are two left!"
(Needs some extra-likes: ♥♥♥♥♥♥)
She is adorable
Mischievous little angel :)
this is so hilarious
Just imagine how amazing this will be when she is able to view this as an adult.
Please make videos with them !
That was my favorite part.
Here earnestness and intensity reminds me of my children when they were young, and of their children (my grandchildren) now. The fact that she (possibly with your help?) ate all but two of the strawberries reminds me of Marilyn, my wife.
When our children were little, Marilyn bought two punnets of strawberries: one for herself for a healthy non-fattening afternoon snack, and the other for the family to share for dessert. Well, before the kids got home from school, Marilyn ate her punnet -- but the strawberries were so good she couldn't resist having just a couple from the second punnet. But they were very good, so she had a few more, and then a few more after that. Well, after just "a few more" she realized that there weren't enough to share for dessert that evening so she did the only sensible thing: she ate all of the strawberries from the second punnet too.
The silly part is that Marilyn - being the honest person that she is - announces, after we've finished dinner, that there's no dessert because she ate them all! I guess that's why I love her :-)
Thanks for watching Capucine and enjoying this funny moment.
I confirm : she ate the candies with my help, we were partners in crime. ;-)
(the strawberries in the movie were not fruit, but candy strawberries, they're called "Tagada". Strawberry fruit season has not started yet, we already have some coming from Marocco but they're not the best, I can't wait for the french strawberries to arrive !
Petite Capucine has captured my heart and will own it forever. As Maurice Chevalier sang, "Thank Heaven for little girls." Thanks, Capucha for sharing her with a lonely, old soldier with no children of his own. Much love in your family, I can tell.
You have a budding little director there!
Very Sweet!
This must have made Papa smile!
1) When she was hiding the evidence, were those sound effects?
2) Did it work when you said 'No No No, there's nobody in there'?
1)No sound effects, natural crunch !
2) I didn't need to say that, Capucine didn't resist long enough ;-)
It is a great movie by a great director. If you haven't, you should watch Delicatessen and The City of Lost children.
Thanks for your visit and your nice comment :))
i think I have been incredibly lucky with that little one. but fortunately she's not the only cool baby on earth and I wish you to get one of them :)
i had to watch again.
…elle brisera plusieurs cœurs…
have a great day !
Beyond adorable - mother and child both!
Mr Knopff.. your story of the strawberries reminds me of a story one of my older neighbors told me one day of the time when she was a little girl and her father scolded her for picking and eating apples off their apple trees... he told her he had better not see her picking those apples again!! so what does she do?.. she climbs the tree and eats the apples to the core while they are still attached to the branches! Children are very ingenious when it comes to treats :)
