When Jeff Suri asked if a laundromat off Broadway in Long Beach would be a good place to shoot a session, I basically thought "Why not?" After all, there really is no place I couldn't really shoot. And with Jeff's odd, yet intriguing songwriting, I couldn't really argue that any location wasn't perfect. With Orlando and Erick Nieto backing him up, the Fluff Fold session with O's and the Oculist went better than any of us could have planned -- zero conflict, barely any patrons, and an odd backing sound of change jingling, clothes turning, and dryer doors shutting. The only thing we had to figure out was where we'd get power from, which the beauty shop next door was happy to provide.
