Back in the Fall of 2012, I came up with the idea for a video that I originally was going to start at Coney Island and walk the boardwalk all the way to Brighton Beach. That resulted in me shooting this other video back in October 2012 . Unfortunately for me, that day something else came up that resulted in me having to leave early and cut my filming short. Since that day I've been wanting to one day go back and shoot the rest, which is why I went back on this nice Spring day.

To me, this video ends up being sort of a “sequel” to my other video “Coney Island Day Out…,” as it is everything else I did not get to shoot back then. You can also see familiar scenery towards the end of this video that you can also see in “Coney Island Day Out… .”

As I went through all the footage I was really digging how I everything looked together. Somehow I didn’t want to cut big sections out of what I had shot. Still even though I had over 12 minutes worth of footage I started shedding sections in hopes of get it near 5 minutes, which ended up being easier said than done, as I struggled to barely get it under 7 minutes.

When I shot this back in May (2013), the weather for this day was still in the late 50s and early 60s (Fahrenheit, hence certain people still wearing hoodies and winter jackets).

Also had I shot this during the hot summer in high temperatures of high 80s, humidity would have been an issue on my camera and lens which I completely wanted to avoid.
