You can spare six minutes for this....

A hair-raising POV bicycle tour of some of the world's most dangerous intersections and traffic circles. I am told that I should emphasize that every second of these videos are shot with me riding a bicycle, not a motorbike. The bike I'm riding is made from bamboo and does not coast (bike nerds call this type of bicycle a "fixie"). Making these videos is NOT something I recommend doing unless you have a lot of experience riding a bicycle in traffic. It took me two years to gain the experience and work up the nerve to ride like this. I ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET -otherwise my mom would fly to Vietnam and strangle me.

The inspiration for this particular video came from an article posted on NPR.com entitled "The Most Dangerous Traffic Circle in the World?" by Robert Krulwich, showing photographer Rob Whitworth's amazing time lapse of HCMC traffic. I thought it might be fun to show the same traffic from the level of the street.

Thanks to System of a Down and Motorhead (I couldn't resist) for the jams. They own this music.
