You'll have to look at a map to find this place. First discovered by the Portugese in the 1400's, then the French and English. Now a mecca for tourists looking for the elusive garden of eden. This ancient landscape was once part of Gondwanaland, sandwiched between Africa and India. Around 65million years old. With many unique features, like the Coco de Mer, the largest seed in the world , once more valuable than gold. The 160 000 Tortoise are at home on most islands. There are 115 islands in this archipelago, some are inhabited by humans.
I have been working at Four Seasons Resort as a surf guide. I have put together a short film of a local place called Anse Boileau, one of the best waves on its day. Likes a south swell, or SW swell with east winds ideal, breaks one foot to double over head, tubes on the smallest and biggest days, one of the best waves I have ever ridden, a must
for any adventurous surfer.
This film is my First attempt of creating film of rushes made with my new underwater camera, a very fine 9'6" Log by thomas bexon, carefully shaped by Thomas and glassed by Jake Bowrey in Noosa Heads Australia.
