Volleyball becomes center stage this week in the AHSAA as area tournaments took place on Monday and Tuesday with the winner and runner-up advancing to regional tournaments on Saturday. Winners of those games – eight in each class – will advance to the AHSAA Elite Eight state tournament at Pelham Civic Complex on Oct. 28-29.
