Hey man that rocks! Thank you for sharing with us. What an amazing piece of editor the S4100 is! Needs some improvments, though for NTSC land. Just keep up the good work!

Very good Syl. I've been getting so use to watching all of these crazy wedding concept videos From FilmFellas cast 4 & 5, it's nice to see a well put together montage, and I like the Kings of Leon, good choice.

Terrific piece of work. Loved everything about it. I am motivated to look into the Letus piece of add-on equipment. The video above is a shortened version of what the couple will receive or . . . ?

Hi Daniel, Tks for watching...yes the idea is for the couple to get a recap of their wedding day to share with family and friends asap...load it up with MM in the S4100
then the get a couple more musical montages & of course the whole reality show for the day.
DOF adapters and supports are not cheap but you could make that up in 3 weddings...i Highly recomend Zacuto products zacuto.com/ ask for the sales department ans speak with Elma Bukva tell her your budget and she will help you out. Tell her i sent you.
    Good luck !

Syl, this is a very well polished video - I am so impressed!

I love the rings in the tree at :30 - and the details/closeups of drinks, shoes and other items.

The color is beautiful too. Great editing!! Esp. in cases like the wedding dress hanging on the wall, where you are zooming in and cut to a later part of the zoom - a great way to give the video some "punch" - and save some time too!

    Cheers,

    Paul

Thank Paul, I had just a few weeks to learn all the new gear and come up with a new look for weddings here in Ottawa. Im exhausted but it was worth it ! Those zoom ins are created using a Glidetrack (like a mini dolly) its really usefull for these kind of high tempo montages.

Way to go Syl, you give me hope. I also use two S4000 units and despite some of the small issues they may have I think the potential for greatness is even more enhanced. I really liked the color fades you use. Way to go man..

Thanks Ken, I agree with you, i think the potential of the gen III machines are awesome.

    Syl, Great work!
Wedding videos... they're a nightmare! Those Glidtrack shots are real impressive. Are you using any dollies?
  • Syl Renaud plus 1 year ago
    Salut Alex,
Wedding videos can be difficult but also fun depending on the group you're with, definitely challenging not for everyone...
Using just a Glidetrack...never anytime to set up a dolly even if I had one.
    Tks for watching
