Wonderful achievement. Build, plan, paddle, adventure, strain, appreciate, achieve, communicate. I applaud you both! I'm looking forward to the next well-documented outdoor adventure.

I plan to see this movie tomorrow at the Anchorage International Film Festival. It was well received!

Can you tell me what cameras you used? I plan to film a similar adventure in Alaska soon.

Thanks! The Anchorage Int'l Film Festival success exceeded our hopes. We hope you enjoy!

    We used all Sony cams: A1U, V1U, HC9, & Alpha 350.
    Good luck!

JJ, Finally saw it last night. The film quality was great. Sharp and clear. Of course the subject matter was cool and the pace of the film was great. Last night was the third showing and at a bad time (530 PM) but the theater was nearly packed again. Everyone clapped and cheered at the end. The humor was great as well.

Will this be available on DVD? NetFlix? My friends would like to see it now.

    Any plans for future films?

Netflix is a few more months out. And yes there are plans in the works for another adventure. This summer, we are planing on building two canoes to float the Yukon. Half competing in an adventure race and half an ethnographic look at the people and wildlife. From the interior of the Yukon to the Bering Sea by canoe. Stay tuned...

I've probably commented on your film before, but it's just too good not to talk about. Great that you made a point to document your trip with such detail and care. Can wait to see it on netflix.
