william mathys 30 days agodoug mccohona makes an interesting comment around 1:14 he said he went off course and through the grass . he also took a free lap along with his teammate scott . this is illegal for a free lap the rider must have a flat or be in a crash . both riders mentioned never hit the ground but still took a lap . had this been known a protest could have been applied moving placing riders up . i guess the only reason this has any relevance is because i was the fourth place rider . no hard feelings to the riders involved ,but to other riders watch the riders getting pushed in during free laps it may come in handy during protest time.
