The Cayoosh Kidz left the school for a day to learn about, and to help out at the Powerhouse Foreshore Restoration Project. This spot, where the Seton River and Fraser River meet, has been used and abused for decades. Now with the cooperation of the Cayoose Creek Band, BC Hydro and the Lillooet Naturalists the site is being restored to its natural state. The dedicated crew working there took time to explain what they were doing and showed us how we could help. It was a great day, even if it was a long hike there and back.
