your work is quite inspiring as usual
Did You use some ND filter on?
Well I've seen some great footage with the 7D but what gives you the best image is a big sensor, and it's a lot smaller on the 7D.
So I think in a lot of situations you're gonna lack contrast, color accuracy, DOF and sharpness.
Beautiful.
How do you capture your shots? Mono-pod?
Once again magazine like images in motion. Wonderful!
I didn't use any stabilizer, it's all handheld but some shots are stabilized in post. But my next purchase will be a glidecam, that's for sure.
Check our videos, made with the Canon 5D too..

well done!
Oh and amazing once again.
Well in fact it's simple, it's some videos with random "burn reel" effect, you have a few collections but the one I'm using is called "Film Clutter" and it's from the Artbeats website.
Then you just have to composite those in the Add mode and voila ;)
Belle maitrise, chapeau !
Were these all stills or a mix between Stills and Video.
There are scenes which move too quickly to be shot with the 5Ds continuous shooting mode but then again, that can easily be fixed in post, but then there are scenes that look super sharp, almost too sharp to be HD video. Ha ha. It's awesome that this video does this to me :)
Everything is shot in video and the scenes that moves very fast are just speeded up in post but that's it.
And yeah, the 5D can produce really sharp images ;)
I just "interpret footage" inside after effects to 25p to a 25p timeline so every frame is rendered but everything is slowed down, but I kinda like it, so no probs for me.
Aperture was close to wide open and ISO set at 100, so in a bright sunny day like that the shutter can go up to 2000 or even 4000.
In a few days i have the 5 d too;-)
Greetings
Where....?
Go ask him ;) : myspace.com/uddhavaouaki
You had to use some kind of a tripod, right? Or some other equipment for steady movement...
No, this one was handheld all the way, with a non-stabilized lens (but with only 50mm you don't get too much shake).
But some shots has been a tad stabilized in post, using magic bullet steady or the default tracking tool of After Effects.
I guess you make the frame in such a way that only the important things are seen, and the rest kind of doesnt matter.
cheers!
The great thing with the 7D is the ability to shoot 720p videos at 60fps (great for slowmotion), but the new firmware for the 5D seems to add this feature too (in January/February), so I'll go for a 5D if I were you ;)
I would love to shoot RAW but you only can do that with the RED, not the 5D mk2, but maybe with a future mk3 ;)
realy great
