El Central
Well... since I have been getting comments about on the hv20-forum it I'm starting to upload and gather the HV20-stuff that I shoot on Vimeo...
So this is the first thing I ever did with the camera... Just me and 3 friends doing a standard drug-deal gone wrong / hitman type of thing...
It has some color correction and some obvious digital-fx done to it to up the pulse...
The only thing I didn't like about the footage at the time was that the on-site-audio was extremely bad and the camera had a tendency to pick up my breathing more than the actual dialog... I was planning on doing some kind of ADR/looping but I guess I'll save that for a future version where I can clear the songs for distribution...
Oh, and the music is from Macross Plus and MGS3... great soundtracks by the way... get them;)
And a bonus for you who figure out why it's called El Central... a hint... I'm swedish and know little to nothing about spanish;)

One site I did use however was some explosions from detonationfilms that I keyed in and turned red, animated, motion-blurred and thereby created the bloody bullet hits. The muzzle flashes was painted in frame by frame using the roto-paint tools built in and the bullethole was a masked solid that was hand-tracked in with motionblur.
I visit VCP every day now though:)
Edit: no wait... it was last summer... dammit... but anyway... no riot gear stuff used, that, I can swear.
hehe
