On the 26th July 2013 I headed out to Amsterdam from London. I spent a weekend there (Friday morning to Monday evening) exploring the city and seeing some cool things. On the final full day, the Sunday, we took a boat out so we could ride along the canals at night and see the city from the water as it is well known for the canals. We went from just outside the city, through the Red Light District, past the high street and past Anne Frank's house, and simply onwards to where ever we wanted to go to. Needless to say, we had good fun. Played some music and had some food. After spending the weekend exploring on foot and by dutch bikes, it was a nice alternative and a nice end to the weekend.
This was my first time in Amsterdam and it most definitely will not be the last. It was such a cool place. All the shops are really different, all the people are really relaxed (probably because most of them are high most of the time), and the girls were absolutely stunning. Fell in love with the city. I can't wait to return, which will hopefully be next summer with a few friends.
This is the only footage I took. I spent the whole weekend shooting 35mm and off an iPhone. You can see some of my pictures on my Instagram account: @shotbynathan.
