Bwarri Pottery was set up by British potter Michael O'Brien. The ceramics made there point back to a long tradition of British and Nigerian techniques, including the work of Ladi Kwali and Michael Cardew. If you are ever in Abuja, it is well worth making a short trip to visit the place.
