    Hi Andrew,

First off very nice indeed. Second you seem to be the man to answer a few questions perhaps. I have been using the smoke feature for last while, asked these questions, but as of yet no answer. They are here:

    blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?p=1492248#post1492248

    Appreciate any info

Very nice! Would there be any way to make the smoke cast shadows?

    Alexander,

I would suggest you search the Smoke thread at blenderartists. I can guarantee you most questions you might think of such as this have / are being discussed there. If not add them there as we all may learn:

    blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=158317&page=26

Your question is answered in post #504 by shteeve:

"To get volumetric shadows, select the object you want to receive the shadow, and on the material>shadow panel select "receive transparent shadows"

I tried this - it works.

A tip - when you log into blenderartist forum each individual thread has an internal search.

I mention all the above, not as a tut tut, just as a tip worth using for you in the future.

But then maybe you already know this .. so sorry!

    Aidan
