Why Church? Part 2

Many people try to separate their personal faith in Jesus, from the organizational life of the Church. The Bible has lots to say about the “gathering” of God’s people together. In fact, God’s kingdom is designed around God’s people coming together! There are actions, authorities, and tasks that only happen through that assembly of believers – the Church. It’s not always easy coming together – organizational matters, personal differences, and sin can create divisions and frustrations. But God’s Holy Spirit works through all of those issues to unite us as one in Christ, the head of the Church.
