After living in tents, tipis, yurts, mud huts and straw bale cabins, David returns to Bangor, where he was born and raised, to design the perfect house and grow bushels of heritage apples, heirloom tomatoes and obscure berries at his family’s homestead. He is currently the project manager for Bangor Ecohomes, a cluster of 6 super-efficient, and nearly self-sufficient, homes right in the heart of Bangor; he won’t have a proper night’s sleep, or stop dreaming in wall assemblies, until the first one is completed in fall.
