Citizen journalism with @Verdade in Maputo

Citizen Desk was first launched and tested by @Verdade, a high-quality free newspaper in Maputo, Mozambique. @Verdade has the largest estimated readership in Mozambique and a strong social media presence to engage online readers. With Citizen Desk, citizen journalism can be incorporated into the online or print workflows. In preparation for Sourcefabric's visit to Maputo, a workshop had been organised in Berlin with members of the community, journalists and editors to collect ideas for Citizen Desk.
