The award-winning lodge is situated in the unparalleled panorama of the Cederberg Mountains, 270 km north of Cape Town in the Western Cape of South Africa.
The reserve encompasses 7500 magnificent hectares of protected land. Because of its position within the Cape Floral Kingdom, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bushmans Kloof showcases the unique fynbos of the area, and is a South African National Heritage Site for 130 breathtaking sites of ancient Bushman rock art.
The closest settlement is Clanwilliam, an historic village set amidst fragrant citrus orchards in the Olifants River Valley. Along the N7 route from Cape Town towards Clanwilliam, you’ll encounter gorgeous farm stalls and country tearooms. The road between Clanwilliam and the Bushmans Kloof Lodge gate is tarred and safe. It snakes over the Pakhuis Pass, meandering through gargantuan boulders and curious sandstone clusters.
The Lodge can also be accessed by air at the Bushmans Kloof private airstrip.
