Cory Arcangel talked about this idea in his New Museum lecture (Nov. 2008?), saying the idea was passed on to him by Michael Bell-Smith that was given to him by his friend Ari Kardasis; the idea of doing a cover of the Ying Yang Twins "Wait (The Whisper Song)" but having the Macintosh OSX Whisper voice doing the cover. I think Cory said he wouldn't go that low to complete this idea but vintage computer+modern hip-hop is so Wyld File that I felt it had to be done.
