The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 is better known by fans everywhere as the Ferrari Daytona, so named by the automotive press after Ferrari’s 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona.
First introduced at the 1968 Paris Automobile Show, the Ferrari Daytona replaced the Ferrari 275 GTB/4.
Ferrari fans have always loved the Daytona and the 365 GTB/4 is consistently listed as one of the most significant Ferraris every built.
And fast, the Daytona would do 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, top out at 174 miles an hour, and gained street cred when Brock Yates and Dan Gurney won the first Cannonball Run, crossing the US from New York to Los Angeles in 35 hours and 54 minutes (2,876 miles).
