This is an 18 minute abridged version of a 40 minute wedding film. It takes place at one my absolute favorite venues in the city to work at-- the stunning and majestic Angel Orensanz Foundation. Angel Orensanz is an old synagogue on the Lower East Side that's been converted into a performance/event/art space, and was recently featured on an episode of HBO's series Bored to Death.

Andrea and Tamas were a fantastic and passionate couple to work with. They have a deep love of food, family, and above all, each other. Andrea does wonderful creative work in documentary/life story filmmaking. Her website is rewindpics.com.

I'm particularly fond of the opening sequence in this one; the music is by Grizzly Bear. Also be sure to check out the surprise appearance by a troupe of drag performers shortly after the 15 minute mark.
