OPENfuture: Spinning Marinetti's Wheels Banquet at SFMOMA

My first time witnessing such a spectacle. The carving of a 650lb (20hr) spit-roasted steer stuffed with fennel and made into meat cones, sliced pieces, and soup. The beast was biked from Hunter's Point to SFMOMA, stripped by men and then torn apart by female butchers, which didn't make it in the video because camera ran out of memory.

I was told that the sturdy butcher table was a re-purposed wooden floor from a building in Milan, complete with hand-crafted iron legs, and holes drilled at the corners of the table to allow juices to drain through plastic tubes and into buckets beneath each table leg.

Dessert was parachuted from the upper levels of the building.
