Very cool! The choppy motion goes well with that music. I've seen a few music videos shot like this too.

I Imagine you shot this by just using the camera's rapid shutter yes?

    haha! crazy fun video!
  •
  • i've decided. it's not just the camera (i knew that anyway, expecting years of talent to help) but it's also the character that you can embed in your movies/videos/pictures - you have to put your personality in these things to make them really pop.

and you do that in spades. great work again phillip.

Its entertaining, but sadly, I see you chose the movie cover shot to be a man smoking, which to me, means you and other young folks still consider smoking to be "cool". Its too bad millions of lost lives and endless decades of anti-tobacco campaigns have fell unheeded. I'm still convinced that smoking is an activity that is not only terribly addictive, but most important for many to feel special and relevent, no matter what the consequences. Oh well.

thanks for calling me young, don't often get called that these days!

I don't think it's cool. BUT it is a great shot. I don't smoke myself. Just the very odd cigar once in a blue moon. I chose that as the thumbnail as it's a great shot and it's my friend Jon!
  • I am thinking about starting a career as a professional smoker now actually.I've gotten a few job offers
since i was featured as this thumbnail :)

I agree with Phil Campbell about embedding your character into your work. I just love how perfectly the visuals combine with the music in this.

I'd love to try something like this with my 7D, although I'm a bit worried about shutter life. It's just a $200 USD repair anyway I believe.

I wish I could edit this fast. Keep it up!
