After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music - Aldous Huxley

I'm in Clonmel Town at the moment, and like many towns in Ireland it has its fair share of drugs and related social problems. In my past I too have been deeply effected by substance misuse but one of the things that helped me to cope and recover through all the pain and chaos has been music and film.

I've developed an addiction programme called Crossroads that uses music & film. Its foundations lie in the bio-psycho-social model and the drug triangle model of addiction. It moves away from the traditional chalk board or exercise teaching style by using music, lyrical analysis and performance by many music and film artists. [music, lyrical analysis, videos, song writing/rap or poetry, DJ set lists of music therapy & cinematic film]
