    in the last few shots it looks like the record is going one way and the cool mirrored godhead thing is spinning the other direction... does it do that with your human eyes too, or is that just a camera gift?

    depends on your eyes .. i see it , yet in the film, it may be the frame rate [ reversing it ]

    Wow. I used to have a record player just like that when I was six. I used to just stare at it in total awe and disbelief as it played the music from "Trumpton".
