In contrast of action riding footage here's a short clip using mix of still images and sped up video. My intent is to show clear visual instruction on how to perform installation and crank adaptation at home without special tools.
In the video the Stambecco is mounted on Shimano XT Hollowtech 2 crank, but basically the process is the same for most of the today's 4-bolt cranks. Still: for proper installation I recommend looking the manual too as there can be some special cases using E-type derailleur or chain guide. Since the Specialized Enduro 2010 utilizes the guide a BB spacer was added to move the crank outwards, thus altering the chainline.
Please note that you take all the responsibility when filing and riding modified cranks. As said in the manual: you're acting upon Mountain Goat's advice but on your own risk. More info also on mountain-goat.de
