See all Show me
At some point of times in our lives,
we are filled with feelings of inadequacy and always ask for more than we can chew.
This short film flesh out the arduous journey of an old becak driver laboring away without a single sigh. Always treasuring every little blessing that came across.

Enjoy it and feel free to drop us a comment..

People today run behind richness forget on most important thing and this is health. Still all too much such people that fight for daily existence. We can be embarrassed that we forget them every day when we sit down for table and moan which are can't to afford.
  • Haidy Jauw 2 months ago
    Hi Renato,
amank and i used to do that. lol. We used to sit down and moan why cant we have a better camera. but then after sometimes both of us knew and realised that there are some people who wouldnt even have the guts to dream of having a new shirt. so we decided to make a story out of it. Thank u so much for watching Renato..

I am in fact one of the people who complaints about life.
I believe I will reconsider complaining, since most of us complaint about the things we don't have instead of saying "wow it's good I have whatever I have".
Thanks for sharing this video, and make me think about how unfortunate others can be.

    awesome piece of work...
    looking forward for more....

I agree, this is beautifully shot and paced. I also agree with Paper Cranes that the copy would benefit from some revision. There's a saying in English: "There's always someone worse off than you..." So, I guess I felt the ending was a bit cliched. I wonder if there is a more nuanced way of expressing the same sentiment/lesson. The images and story are powerful... they speak for themselves. Lovely work.

    oi oi... hi fred,
thank u so much for the valuable input. that will make us to think and work harder for an inspirational ending. Making an ending is as hard as to make an opening i believe. we would put more effort to it on our next project. =)
    we promise ^^

LOVE it! SO good in so many different ways... very poignant, most people don't know what life is really like in other countries. I thought the ending was great, and not cliched at all
