I wanted to tell with pictures my mother’s strength and faith, and at the same time, the fragility of human life. I feel kind of nostalgia, happiness, and thankfulness to my mother; to have faith for life, and optimism when you have difficulties. When I share this little digital story with everyone, it opens a great space for visual communication inside and out.


Every time I look at this picture--Marta the younger, Lucy with her uniform, Marlene with her first child, me, mom and Clara with her red dress--memories about my mother come to my mind, how strong of a fighter she has been to raise eight children and moved us forward...
