Obligatory Canon 7D test
This is completely basic, literally turn it on and go... full auto video shooting in the 1080p/24 setting. I let the camera set everything. Most of it uses my 24-105mm f/4 L IS, while the two cat shots at the end use my 50mm f/1.4. No color correction, just cut the files together with old fashioned Quicktime Pro. I recompressed to 720p (auto rate) and uploaded.
The noise is obviously not usable at the higher ISO levels, but the indoor shot in a well lit room shows how clean it can be. Hoping to go out and experiment with low light situations in full manual to see what the camera can really do.
I also noticed that the IS does seem to be engaged when shooting video, making hand held at wider zooms pretty smooth.
