One of my final projects for animation class was to create a 15 second individual animation. The goal of this project is to acquaint yourself with storyboarding, animations, rendering, exporting etc. I was having so much fun with it, that I kept going until it was over 30 seconds.
It's my first attempt at animating a personal project. The timing, the cameras and the renders were the toughest parts and I've still got a lot of work to do before I'm confident with the whole animation process but it sure is fun.
For the theme of the story, I was inspired by the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - a Wes Anderson film. I have to say thanks to Daniel Broome, Ruby Huang and Vinki Feng for some help with the models.
Feel free to leave a comment with your suggestions for how to improve this project. I'm all ears.
