In SCUM, the face and torso of a man is cut, spliced and erased on 16mm film in a visual play on the S.C.U.M Manifesto by Valerie Solanas. What follows is flashes of his blood and hair, emulsion from the film was also removed with bleach, still retaining its colour then re-applied like paint, layered the moving images suggestive of human viscera.
The soundtrack is a dictaphone recording of a defective radio used to create feedback which then underwent various chemical treatments.
