Uganda: Ready to Forgive, An African Story of Grace

Through twenty years of war, the Acholi people of Northern Uganda endured rape, torture and child abduction. Thousands died. Many were displaced in squalid camps. Others are still missing. Despite all of this, the Acholi are united in a belief that the only real solution is reconciliation and forgiveness. Jim Parks edited this program for broadcast on NBC-TV affiliates and contributed graphics and original music. Jim also edited a version for Odyssey Networks and an updated version for broadcast on ABC during Fall 2009.
