New York Yankees outfielder, Curtis Granderson and the Grand Kids Foundation host inaugural Grand Kids All Star Awards Luncheon presented by New Balance at STK Midtown in New York City on Monday, July 15.

The Awards Luncheon honors brands and individuals for their on-going support of the Grand Kids Foundation’s 2013 community endeavors, including the (Grand Kids) Back-to-School program, Hurricane Sandy School Recovery initiative, Jackie Robinson Day Tribute, University of Illinois at Chicago community development project (Curtis Granderson Stadium) and Summer/Fall roll-out of the Grand Kids Fitness Challenge.

“All Star Week is a special time of year, in which we celebrate the accomplishments of baseballs greatest performers,” said Granderson. “My season thus far has proven to have a far different impact than expected, but an important one nevertheless. The (Grand Kids) awards luncheon will allow me the opportunity to personally honor our Grand Kids All Star team for their unwavering support of our philanthropic efforts this year.”
