Here is a piece I shot whilst Jan was appearing at the 'From Page to Screen' festival in Bridport Dorset (UK). The session took place after the screening of 'Room 237', which is a film dedicated to the theories and suggested conspiracies behind Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining'.
Jan had been Kubrick's producer for over 30 years, and spoke about a number of things to do with the production of 'The Shining' along with his memories of Kubrick as a filmmaker.
I've used a couple of music tracks from the film, along with behind the scenes and set photography with a couple of clips from the film itself. This piece is purely an online, not for distribution or profit cut of Jan's talk.
In the next few weeks, I'll be uploading a film shot about the screening of 'The Shining' at a disused clifftop hotel, again featuring Jan and other contributors.
But for now, enjoy....
