This project aimed to show the class experientially how a themed creative idea (Pirates) could be developed through a number of different art-making processes and skills, moving from discussion and decision making through consensus to generating images by mono-printing onto glass with primary colours using direct drawing techniques and stencilling. We then mapped the ideas generated working on a large paper roll the width of the classroom developing a visual story by splitting the class into five groups, each taking on the responsibility for different sections of the story. Each section was then transferred into clay, a plaster mould was taken and the mould filled with coloured glass. Five glass panels were produced.
