May 1, 2013 marks the ten year anniversary of President W. Bush declaring mission accomplished in Iraq. A decade later, we now know that there were no weapons of mass destruction in that country and that the war would unfold for many more years to come. Thousands of troops died after the U.S. declared victory, millions of Iraqis fled the country and sectarian violence plagues the country to this day. RT Correspondent Meghan Lopez take a look at this infamous speech and the years after.
