This video interprets my feelings as a photographer about going to Tomioka in Japan which is on the coast about 15kms from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear station which was destroyed by the earthquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011. This visit was just a couple of months after the Nuclear Radiation Zone had been lifted on the area; nothing had been touched for two years.
It was made possible because a good friend, Anne Kaneko, took me there and the Radiation Meter we had with us gave very different and higher readings than the official published figures. The story does not end here .....
