This is our first test of the Phoenix Brushless Gimbal. We will continue with some minor design changes and gain settings. During this video test we have experienced some drifting horizons. Some tweaks to the PID and Follow values are in order.

The effectiveness of the stabilization of the gimbal is clearly shown when the instrument panel and door frame of the helicopter are in the frame. The helicopter is experiencing some substantial attitude deviations due to wind and other factors. The Phoenix gimbal is doing an amazing job of not allowing the motions of the copter to reach the camera. We're quite excited with the results and are looking forward to releasing this brushless gimbal this fall.
