Williamsburg, Brooklyn 1973
An area where the Italian traditions of family, church, and loyalty are intimately intertwined.
Lily of the Feast, tells the story of Santo Bastucci (Castelluccio), a former bookie turned banker with a rare gift for memorizing numbers. Unwittingly cast into the forefront of an aging wiseguy’s (LoBianco) bid for power, Santo is caught between the loyalty he has for his cagey father-in-law (Sorvino), his childhood friend (Margotta) and his street wise uncle (Nascarella). Ultimately, Santo must choose a path rarely taken in this Williamsburg world.
